ECW visits Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
Matt Hardy def. John Morrison (ECW Championship Qualifying Match)
This match was high intense with multiple near pinfalls for both Superstars. Matt Hardy blocked the Moonlight Drive and Matt Hardy backed fired with his signature move The Twist of Fate. Matt Hardy was able to secure a spot in the ECW Championship Match along with ECW Champion: Mark Henry.
The Miz def. Evan Bourne (ECW Championship Qualifying Match)
During the match The Miz was grounding Evan "Air" Bourne while stopping Evan Bourne from during his high flying action. The Miz was able to hit his signature move the Reality Check on Evan Bourne for the pinfall. The Miz secured a spot in the ECW Championship Match at Unforgiven along with Matt Hardy & ECW Champion: Mark Henry. Can The Miz get his first singles title?
Chavo Guerrero def. Tommy Dreamer (ECW Championship Qualifying Match)
Terrible things have happened to Tommy Dreamer. One thing: Colin Delaney ditched his mentor, Tommy Dreamer. Second thing: why does Tommy Dreamer get another shot to qualify for the ECW Championship when he was unsuccessful at One Night Stand 2008? If I was General Manager of ECW I would choose the best in ECW. Like: The Miz, John Morrison, Matt Hardy, & Elijah Burke. Tommy Dreamer needs to retire and his glory days was back in ECW 2002 Ok, back to the match Chavo Guerrero hit the Frog Splash on Tommy Dreamer picking up a win in the match. Chavo Guerrero secures his spot in the ECW Championship Match at Unforgiven along with ECW Champion: Mark Henry, Matt Hardy, & The Miz.
Finlay def. Mike Knox (ECW Championship Qualifying Match)
I think Finlay should not of had a second opportunity for a Championship Qualifying Match after he lost to United States Champion: Shelton Benjamin who qualified for the WWE Championship Qualifying Match on SmackDown. Also, I do not think Mike Knox should get an opportunity for the ECW Championship. I think this match should of been 1-fall or Extreme Rules instead of a Qualifying Match. It seemed as though Mike Knox was going to win but the Hornswoggle throws a shillelagh in the ring to his father, Finlay who hit Mike Knox with it to get the pinfall and Finlay secures a spot in the ECW Championship Match at Unforgiven along with Matt Hardy, The Miz, Chavo Guerrero & ECW Champion: Mark Henry.
