Jeff Hardy, Batista, Rey Mysterio, & Finlay w/ Hornswoggle def. John Bradshaw Layfield, Kane, Montel Vontavious Porter, & The Brian Kendrick w/ Ezekiel Jackson (All-Star Eight-Man Tag Team Match)
The kick-off match of the MyNetworkTV debut of WWE Friday Night SmackDown went successful. The Brian Kendrick & Finlay start the match off. Finlay hits the Atomic Drop on The Brian Kendrick. Batista gets a nearfall on The Brian Kendrick. Finlay tags in Batista. Then after Batista wrestled for a while Batista tagged in Finlay. Jeff Hardy comes into the match and gets a nearfall on The Brian Kendrick. The Brian Kendrick needs to make a tag he has been in the match for a while. Jeff Hardy tags in Finlay. The Brian Kendrick dropkicks Finlay. Hornswoggle gets involved in match while wearing The Brian Kendrick's jacket. The Brian Kendrick doesn't like Hornswoggle wearing his jack and The Brian Kendrick tries to give Hornswoggle pain but Hornswoggle's father Finlay clotheslines The Brian Kendrick. Then Ezekiel Jackson The Brian Kendricks advisor clotheslines Finlay. The Brian Kendrick finally makes a tag and brings in John Bradshaw Layfield. John Bradshaw Layfield clotheslines Finlay. Finlay needs tp make a tag. Finlay hits a counter on John Bradshaw Layfield. Finlay tags in Batista and John Bradshaw Layfield tags in Montel Vontavious Porter. Batista dominates early in the match. In conclusion Jeff Hardy hits the Swanton Bomb on Montel Vontavious Porter to get the win. Here are your winners: Finlay, Rey Mysterio, Batista, & Jeff Hardy. Jeff Hardy picking up the pinfall over Montel Vontavious Porter. Can, Jeff Hardy do the same to the Game at No Mercy this Sunday. As, Rey Mysterio won in tag team action on Friday Night SmackDown. On, the losing side was his No Mercy opponent the Big Red Monster Kane.

Intercontinental Champion: Santino Marella w/ Women's Champion: Beth Phoenix def. United States Champion: Shelton Benjamin (Non-Title Regular Match)
Intercontinental Champion: Santino Marella is trying to beat the Honky Tonky Man's 64 week regin as an Intercontinental Champion. Santino Marella's Intercontinental record is 6 weeks. This match went well until R-Truth distracted United States Champion: Shelton Benjamin and Intercontinental Champion: Santino Marella gets a pinfall over Shelton Benjamin. Here is your winner: Intercontinental Champion: Santino Marella.

The Great Khali w/ Ranjin Singh & Mark Henry w/ WWE Hall of Famer: Tony Atlas def. Chavo Guerrero (2-on-1 Handicap Match)
SmackDown General Manager: Vickie Guerrero wasn't at the arena this week after what The Undertaker did to her last week on Friday Night SmackDown. Just seconds before Friday Night SmackDown was wrapping up The Undertaker Tombstone Piledriver SmackDown General Manager: Vickie Guerrero and she laid motionless for a few minutes. SmackDown General Manager: Vickie Guerrero is injured and so SmackDown General Manager: Vickie Guerrero told The Big Show to take her SmackDown General Manager spot for this week's Friday Night SmackDown. So, The Big Show added a Handicap Match with The Great Khali & Mark Henry on one side and Chavo Guerrero on the other side. Mark Henry weighing 392 pounds and The Great Khali weighing 420 pounds. Combined weight is 812 pound. Chavo Guerrero weighing 215 pounds. Weight difference 597 pounds. This match went quick while The Great Khali and Mark Henry has not been taken off their feet during this match between Chavo Guerrero. In a dynamic Six-Man Tag Team Match, CM Punk joined forces with the new WWE Tag Team Champions: Carlito & Primo Colon. And, after Primo Colon & Carlito cleared the ring of Cody Rhodes and Manu, CM Punk seized the priceless victory, hitting Ted DiBiase Jr with the Go To Sleep. Women's Champion: Beth Phoenix def. Divas Champion: Michelle McCool (Non-Title; Lumberjack Match)

Triple H hits the Double A Spinebuster on Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho hits the Walls of Jericho on Triple H. Matt Hardy hits Bulldog on Chris Jericho. Matt Hardy hits Side Effect on Chris Jericho. WWE Champion: Triple H hits the Pedigree on ECW Champion: Matt Hardy to get the pinfall. Here is your winner WWE Champion: Triple H. Then, after that match World Heavyweight Champion: Chris Jericho gets a ladder from under the ring and brings it into the ring and tries to slam the ladder between Matt Hardy like a sandwhich. But, Chris Jericho failes after Jeff Hardy saves his brother Matt Hardy. Then, Vladimir Kozlov comes out and takes down Jeff Hardy and WWE Champion Triple H.

Unlike their encounter at Unforgiven, Hardy will have to face The Cerebral Assassin one-on-one. The odds seem to overwhelmingly favor 12-time World Champion Triple H. But, success is no stranger to Hardy, who is a four-time Intercontinental and seven-time Tag Team Champion. The time is right for Hardy to pull off a major win. But first, he’ll need to get by one of WWE’s most successful Superstars.
